COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ADMINISTRATOR

FLSA:  Exempt Employee

 

Qualifications include but are not limited to:  Knowledge of and administration of Community Development Block Grant programs and projects, compliance with Federal, state and local regulations, policies and guidelines, citizen participation, environmental review, labor, procurement, civil rights, wage rates, completing grant financial information for processing and preparation of financial reports for all projects, preparing close-out reports as required and various other duties as required.  Requires ability to remain flexible to changing priorities and deadlines, working well under pressure, maintaining appropriate tact and courtesy with the general public, councils, commissions, and co-workers.  Requires a strong sense of responsibility, superior judgment, high motivation, excellent initiative and attention to detail.

Applicant must possess the ability to work irregular hours and travel within a six county area including:  Dunklin, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Scott and Stoddard Counties.
